About

Hi, I'm Olaoluwa, a software engineer who builds things people actually use. Outside of coding, I'm into motorsports and working toward becoming a gentleman driver, touring circuits around the world is the long-term plan.

I enjoy traveling and meeting people from very different places. The medium-term goal is to build products that matter while training seriously enough to eventually race. Sim racing is the current on-ramp.

Background

I started programming after secondary school. The COVID-19 lockdown gave me the time to get into Python, which eventually pulled me into the broader web ecosystem. I haven't stopped building since.

I'm comfortable across the full stack: TypeScript on the frontend, Python and Node on the backend, and enough infrastructure knowledge to ship and scale things without needing to hand off every deployment decision.

Values

I care about simplicity over cleverness. Code that's easy to read and delete is better than code that tries to be smart.

I'd rather ship something early and learn from real users than polish something that never leaves my branch.

And I think tools should serve the person using them, not the other way around. If a tool creates friction, it's the tool's fault.

Get in touch

The best way to reach me is on GitHub or X. I'm open to interesting work, collaborations, or just talking through a problem.
